28A – Your Exit Strategy
1. I intend to stay with the business for several decades and then retire.
2. I have selected this strategy as I like seeing things through and would like to see how big I can make the business grow. This is not to say I will not have other business ventures, just that I would not abandon this one.
3. It has influenced the degree into which I make sure my business has long term plans to prosper and be profitable.

I like the ambition that is between the lines in your intentions. Having your main line and then side projects. Sounds wonderful! Yet tiring. I think you could definitely do it, though. Still, I would also encourage you to consider contingency plans.
ReplyDeleteAnd another thing, I wonder if you would opt for finding partners for your company to become publicly traded. I haven't had to consider it for my venture, since my plans are smaller. I think it could help your venture, but then it could also endanger your position at the head of it, although I could not be certain. Pros and cons, y'know?
Hi there Christian,
ReplyDeleteI honestly respect your will and determination to carry your business out to term, because honestly who knows what will happen to it if it ends up in the hands of someone who has not envisioned it from the beginning. I believe vision is key to these types of things and only you know what that vision is.
