19A – Idea Napkin No. 2

1. My name is Christian Collazo. I am a political science major at the University of Florida. I am a hard worker and do well in school. I will be attending law school next year and have my eyes set on being a federal prosecutor. I aspire for my eco-friendly home business to be a regional success in areas which are particularly impacted by climate change. I would imagine this business would become my livelihood if I was to start it and become the focus of my life. 2. I am offering "future proof" housing to customers. I will be assisting my clients in creating a home which makes efficient use of energy whether through solar panels or clever use of the greenhouse effect to keep air conditioning costs down. I will also be supplying eco friendly building materials as well as building materials which insulate from changes in temperature extremely well. 3. I am offering this service to environmentally conscious couples in their 30's looking to build a home. 4. My customers...

17A - Elevator Pitch No. 2

I learned to stand from my past video and be more dynamic in my hand movements.

18A – Create a Customer Avatar

Image
The prototypical customer for my eco-friendly and future proof housing would most likely be a couple in their early thirties looking for a home. They are most likely professionals in a thriving field and have recently gotten promotions and feel comfortable investing in a home. However, they are very socially aware and are aware of the ongoing issues with climate change and want to ensure their home is future proof. They most likely have hobbies such as golfing or hiking and like to spend time outdoors. They would probably watch shows like Game of Thrones and Altered Carbon. They would drive Tesla's in order to be environmentally conscious and they would be white. They would most likely be planning for two children and would not care if they had to adopt. They would probably enjoy Harry Potter and would lean towards politicians like Bernie Sanders. I have a lot in common with my prototypical customer as I imagine this would basically be a good representation of myself once I reach m...

14A – Halfway Reflection

Image
1. I developed good time management habits and make sure to keep track of what was due. I made sure to think critically about the assignment and work on them with full effort. 2. I felt like giving up before my first Finance exam but I pushed through and got a good grade. The drive to succeed and make it into a good law school helped me push through. I do feel like I have developed a tenacious attitude. 3. 1. Always make sure you are organized and know what is due 2. Always have your long term goals in mind when working on assignments or studying 3. Always give yourself extra time to work on assignments in case something unexpected happens.

13A – Reading Reflection No. 1

Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson 1. The thing that surprised me the most was that Jobs did not become a billionaire from Apple but from Pixar. I admired his ability to make whatever he was set on achieving happen. I least admired his inability to listen to other people. He encountered adversity when he was fired from apple in 1985 but he bounced back by making Pixar a huge success. 2. Steve Jobs was incredibly smart and persistent. He never gave up on his goals. 3. I was confused by his arbitrary choice in the name apple for his company. 4. What do you think was the most vital factor in your success? If you could it again differently would you and how? 5. I think Steve Jobs viewed hard work as essential to success.

12A – Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No. 1

Figuring out Buyer Behavior For my segment, I picked couples in their 30's who are either looking to build a home or have recently bought a home. Thankfully most of my cousins fit this segment so it was easy to find people to interview. I would say that all three were aware of the need for climate change resistant housing. Rising temperatures mean increasing electricity bills and they are aware that building using better insulating materials as well as implementing solar energy could save them money in the long run. They said that the first place they would go for information search is google and they would search how to cut down on their electricity bill. Some key terms would be climate change, housing, expensive electricity bill. I think this segment is relatively well aware of the need for my product and use the internet for their information search.
